The gift of love

There’s not a happy moment in Tracy’s life you won’t hear her hum a little song or sing a few lines with her beautiful voice. Whenever she feels love around, it touches her soul and transforms itself into a catchy melody.

Music is the food of our souls, music is the power of life, and music can change your mood. Tracy’s music can be soothing like a mellow afternoon on the shores of lake Victoria, or cheerful like a glass of sparkling champagne. She will make you smile and move when the beat inspires her – and touch your soul when her voice goes silky-smooth.

For Tracy music is love. And music is her gift to the world.

Music is her life

The most influential person in Tracy’s life is her father: growing up as the youngest of many kids at home in a small village in the countryside, he discovered her talent when she was only 4 years old. One evening he said: you can sing, you have a sweet, smooth and strong voice. This is when everything started

And so it happened: every evening her dad would take her out to the garden and sing with her. Growing up in a small house without electricity, the lessons in the evening sun under the mango tree were fun, and she would learn to sing different keys and voices over time. And she would further train her voice every day singing in pre school and church.

When she was 13 years old, her dad died. Suddenly life was empty without him and the happy time spent singing under the tree – Tracy’s world had lost its centrepiece. It took her many years of sadness in silence until one November evening she discovered that this joy would come back also when she would sing alone: while it won’t bring her loved dad back, singing the old songs keeps the memories alive, and making new ones will build his legacy.

Evolution of a beautiful voice

This was the beginning of her journey into music: she wrote her first own song EKIGAALI, and recorded it. A song of love, bringing back memories from a happy childhood. Fondly remembering the happiness she witnessed when seeing the deep connection between her parents, she shares the intimate moment when her dad would go out with his bicycle and invite her step-mom on to ride and sing along with him.

This delicate memory of a loving couple singing on a bicycle she transformed into a joyful melody, and published it to share its beauty with the world. You can still fell the warm sensation of a careless afternoon between lovers on their way when listening to it, and many still like it the same as when it first aired on TV many years ago.

Publishing her first song was an amazing experience. She now had a dream: to continue this journey by building up a recording studio and a band to bring her music to the world. More songs would follow, and today she’s not only performing, writing and composing, but also supporting young and coming artists in recording their songs. Because with her music she wants to make the world a little bit more beautiful every single day.
